anima mundi

3 cynotypes on cotton
140x260cm each

This series of large-scale cyanotypes, created without the use of a camera, employs the interplay of shadows cast by both human and non-human subjects, including plants and mushrooms. The title, „Anima Mundi,“ directly references Plato’s concept of the World Soul, which posits an inherent connection between all living beings and envisions the universe as a single, interconnected organism. Commissioned and shown at Mahalla Berlin during Berlin Artweek, part of the exhibition „realized beings“ curated by Ralf Schmerberg.
