My Kräuterbuschen installation during Berlin Art Week at Mahalla Berlin. Made of foraged local wild herbs, all with medicinal properties: Mugwort, St. Johns Wort, Yarrow, Canadian Rue, Mullein, Vipers Bugloss, Tansy and the construction is made out of willow brances and bark.
The installation was transformed as a costum and was set on fire in a ritualistic performance for the closing ceremony of the Lios Labs recidency at Floating University. Local wildplants have a long history of usage for all kind of inscense and cleaning rituals. As the plants were burning I was turning to blow out the fire, releasing sparks of fire and amber.
